Discover Engineering 2007

In January of 2007, the SCI-FI school-year office staff realized that a committee had not been formed to run the annual Discover Engineering Conference for Grade 8 Girls. Pulling together our resources and contacts with qualified staff to delivery the event, and schools to promote the event in, we successfully ran the conference in March of 2007 with ~65 girls attending.

Unfortunately, the conference did not run in the spring of 2008. However, it returned in 2009 with the full support of SCI-FI, enrolling over 70 girls.
